FIBA Asia sets the ball in motion for FIBA license for coaches
 
FIBA Asia on Wednesday set the ball in motion for the process of various National Federations registering their coaches as FIBA Approved coaches. In a circular to all FIBA Asia National Federations, FIBA Asia Secretary General Mr. Hagop Khajirian called upon all the NFs to register their coaches as per the procedure.

The term used “No Charge Area” would instantly draw fear to the defenders. All these years FIBA Rules on “Block or Charge” basing on the principle on legal or illegal defense are crystal -clear. Even that the calls on “Block or Charge” can be very subjective, which have often invited rebuts from the coaches.

FIBA Rules Changes 2010 – Part 1

FIBA Official Rules Changes has taken effect from Oct 1, 2010. Some of these changes were approved in 2008, but implemented only now to allow the National Federations ample time to arrange the new court markings.
