Reigning FIBA Asia Championship winners and defending champions Iran came up with another stupendous show of strength in offense and solidity on the other end of the floor to beat Chinese Taipei 89-79 in the final of the 5th FIBA Asia Cup on Saturday, thus retaining their stranglehold on the top position in the FIBA Asia pecking order.

The term used “No Charge Area” would instantly draw fear to the defenders. All these years FIBA Rules on “Block or Charge” basing on the principle on legal or illegal defense are crystal -clear. Even that the calls on “Block or Charge” can be very subjective, which have often invited rebuts from the coaches.
