Rowsom impressed with Rayyan’s defense, in the team’s defense of title
Brian Rowsom is a man on a mission. Having taken over the reins of Al Rayyan just days before the last year’s 23rd FIBA Asia Champions Cup in Manila and taken them to a bronze medal finish, the 46-year-old is back at the helm of the Qatar champions as the team went on a rampage to finish the first round of the 2011-12 QBF Men’s League winning all the seven games. |

Selfless sacrifice is the key to WABA’s success: Majdoub
There are not many in this part of the basketball world who wouldn’t stand up in respect when Mudar Majdoub walks into any room.
But then, there are not many in any part of the basketball world that are as thorough as the Jordanian 70-year-old in the Rules and Regulations of our sport.

I think we can dig deep in our reserves to qualify: Al-Sous
Wesam Al-Sous is one of the quiet unsung heroes in Jordanian basketball. The 28-year-old guard shot into the limelight as a part of the core group when the WABA nation put together a futuristic plan almost a decade ago. Ever since, the 181-cm player has played his role as a support-cast to the more accomplished group with selfless conviction. |

We are improving with every game: Bawji
Talking to Bassel Bawji is a revelation. The 203-cm forward scored 14 out a game-haul of 30 points in the decisive third quarter to take his team Al Moutahed to their first victory in the WABA League Group B Prelim Round on Thursday and shrugged it off saying “I just did my job.” |

Only hard work can make up for lost time: Stephan
Elie Stephan has been a part of the “future of Lebanese basketball” group for long.
“A lot of people might even say for way too long,” the 25-year-old chuckled opening the conversation with this website during Champville’s warm up for their opening game in the WABA League Group B Prelim Round. |
