Philippines coach Vincent ‘Chot’ Reyes called the team’s participation at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be played in Spain from Aug 30-Sept 14 an experience to relish after the draw for the Prelim Round groupings for the world’s biggest basketball event was completed on Monday.

Becirovic lays down the rules for his preparatory rigors

Memi Becirovic doesn’t mince his words. Having helmed Iran to their third gold medal in FIBA Asia Championship history – with a solid performance at the 27th FIBA Asia Championship at Manila (Philippines) last August and thus qualifying for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be played in Spain from Aug 30-Sept 14, Iran’s second entry to the international event, the 52-year-old Slovenian has already laid down the rules for his team in preparation for Spain.
