Mainstay Hamed Haddadi proved he was in fine fettle, but reigning FIBA Asia Championship winners Iran began the final leg of their preparations for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be played in Spain from Aug 30-Sept 14 going down 69-77 to Slovenia in an international tournament on Thursday.
