TAIPEI CITY, Chinese Taipei (WSBL): Cathay Life wrapped up their 2011-12 WSBL Finals against Chunghwa Telecom 2-0, and clinched their 19th title in the team’s history. Cathay Life won 77-54 and 65-45 in the best-of-three affair.

Chiang Feng-chun was the star in both Cathay Life wins.

In Game 1, she led the team with 16 points and 14 rebounds and followed it up with another double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in Game 2.

Lan Hao-yu had a 16-point in steering Cathay Life’s win in Game 1.

In Game 2, Huang Fan-shan’s 13 points was the highest score with Huang Pin-cheng adding 11 points.

Hsu Chien-hui was the lone warrior for Chunghwa Telecom returning game-high scores on both days. She had 26 points in Game 1 and 19 points in Game 2.

Meanwhile, Veteran Ma Yi-hung dominated the proceedings as Taiyuan Textile beat Taipower 2-0 in the play off for the third place.

Ma had 30 points and 12 rebounds leading her team to a 65-62 victory in Game 1 and returned to tally 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the 68-57 win in Game 2.
