BEIRUT, Lebanon (Lebanese Cup): Antranik, who last week won their 10th successive Lebanese women’s League title, completed a grand double for the season beating Homentmen Antelias 66-54 in the Finals of the Lebanese Cup for women on Sunday.
Veteran Nisrin Dandan, a member of the Lebanese women’s National Team when they made their first appearance in the FIBA Asia Championship for Women 2001, led the scoring for Antranik with 13 points.
Youngster Natalie Sevajian, a member of the Lebanese team that finished fifth at the 24th FIBA Asia Championship for Women at Omura last year saw her game-high 16 points for Homentmen go in vain.
