About 23rd FIBA Asia Champions Cup

The FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the premier event for club teams in FIBA Asia, returns to the basketball-hungry Lebanon after a gap of more than a decade. The last time Lebanon hosted this prestigious event was in 2000, when Al Hikmeh Sagesse won the second of their three gold medals in the competition. The 23rd FIBA Asia Champions Cup is also expected to provide a dress-rehearsal for all the concerned parties for the 27th FIBA Asia Championship to be hosted by Lebanon in 2013.
