SEOUL, Korea (KBL): With defending champions Anyang KGC managing to win only one of their two games in Round 7 action of the 2012-13 KBL Regular Season and Incheon ET Land Elephants too dropping a game, SK Knights powered their way into sole lead winning both their games.
SK Knights defeated LG Sakers 87-77 on Wednesday at home and then travelled to Wonju on Friday to defeat former champions KCC Egis 75-65.
Kim Min soo (pic above) was the most consistent local player for SK Knights, in the two wins.
Against LG Sakers, Kim had a dozen points behind Aaron Haynes’ 15 points and Byun Ki-hoon’s 16 points. And on Friday, Kim and Jo Hee-jung each added 14 points to Haynes’ 21 points
KCC Egis had lost their earlier game of the round too to Anyang KGC 65-85 on Wednesday. Anyang KGC on Friday failed to join SK Knights on top of the leader board when they lost 64-73 to Mobis Phoebus in an away game on Friday.
ET Land went up against Sonic Boom at Busan and lost 68-79, leaving SK Knights as the only team on top.
