INCHEON, Korea (27th FIBA Asia Championship / 3rd EABA Championship): A high voltage battle of wits is expected in the 3rd East Asian Basketball Championship scheduled to take place at Incheon from May 16-21.

Seven teams have been divided into two groups from the Preliminary Round, from where the top four teams will qualify for the cris-cross semifinals.

Teams finishing third in each of the groups will clash for the 5th place.
